What Is Anchor Grout?
It's typically a two-component polyester resin-based grout (Part A liquid resin and Part B filler/hardener) that, once mixed, forms a high-strength

SHREE BHUVANESWARI INC
Designed for situations where the hole diameter and bar diameter differ by ≤ 25 mm
SHREE BHUVANESWARI INC
Key Features & Benefits
Rapid strength gain allows for early load application (e.g. load-ready in 2–3 hours)
Vibration-resistant, making it ideal for dynamic or industrial environments
Non‑expansive (doesn’t expand after curing), and can be placed under water or in damp conditions
Corrosion-resistant, suited for harsh or wet environments, including marine or chemical-exposed site
Typical Applications
Permanent anchorage of starter bars, reinforcement dowels, safety railings, ground anchors, and foundation bolts into concrete, rock, masonry or brickwork
Fast‑setting anchoring for machinery base plates, track rails, and structural base components
Technical Properties (Typical Polyester Anchor Grout)
Property Typical Value
Compressive Strength @ 3 hrs ~20 MPa (≈2 N/mm²)
Compressive Strength @ 7 days ~70 MPa
Mixed Yield ~0.5 L per kg of product
Working Time (gel time) ~30–45 min depending on temperature
Storage Life ~6 months if stored dry between 5–25 °C
Mixing Conditions Suitable in dry, damp
Application Guidelines
Surface Preparation: Hole/bar installation zones must be clean, roughened, oil‑free, and free from dust, paint, rust, grease, algae, or salts. Compressed air or flushing is commonly used for cleaning
Mixing: Combine Part A and Part B (resin and hardener filler) until a uniform thixotropic paste forms. Mixing may be done mechanically or manually with gloves
Placement: Pour into hole or cavity, then push anchor or bolt into place. Must be done before gel time expires
Curing: Allow time for hardening—often load-ready within 1‑3 hours. Full strength usually achieved in 7 days
Variants & Alternatives
Keygrout (DCP – Keygrout H/V): Similar high-performance polyester resin grout, fast-cure, damp-tolerant (useable underwater), high strength, excellent bond to concrete/steel, available in horizontal and vertical variants. Yield ~0.56 L per kg, shelf life ~6 months
Navrattan Anchor Grout (geopolymer powder): A single-component, water-activated, non-resin, non-corrosive, eco‑friendly geopolymer grout. Expands slightly, waterproof, high early strengths (e.g. ~21 MPa at 2 hrs, ~45 MPa at 28 days) Epoxy-based anchor grouts (e.g. MAX 2007) offer superior chemical resistance and flow in structural/underwater, freeze-thaw conditions—but slower set and higher cost
Summary
Anchor Grout is a resin-based, two-component anchoring material key for high-strength, corrosion-resistant applications. It’s ideal for bolts, bars, and machinery anchoring in concrete or rock, especially where rapid strength gain, chemical resistance, and use in damp or underwater settings are required. Available in standard polyester resin and geopolymer powder versions, with typical strengths reaching 70 MPa by 7 days.
